Adecco Professional Placement, is looking for its client, a multinational FMCG company, an Area Sales Manager based in Bucharest
Job profile:
Planning & Implementing
- Prepare sales budgets according with company strategy (by channel, by month, by customer, bu brand, by sku)
- Implement promo activities
Trade Activity / Store checks (POP)
- Organizes execution trade activity plans in both MT and TT channels
- Ensures implementation of merchandising standards
- Executes frequent store checks, controls the secondary placements, "shelf space" and "checkout space", pricing, checks the freshness of the the products
- Responsible for achievement of distribution (numerical/ weighted) and freshness targets as agreed with the company
POS Activity/ Market
- Plan and coordinate execution of secondary placements and in-store advertisements
- Ensures implementation of company merchandising standards
- Collaborates with marketing department for development of POPM and trade promotions
- Make use of retail research data to draw up analyses and to plan a growing business with Key Accounts
Negotiating / Contracting
- Participates in negotiations of contracts with local clients
- Proposals for development of local clients portfolio
Stock Management
- Co-ordinate monitoring of stock and freshness in Key Accounts and local clients; maintain and optimum level of stock
Credit Management
- Follow up the payments of the Local Clients
Store checks
- Executes frequent store checks, controls the secondary placements, "shelf space" and "check out space", check the freshness of products
- Monitor the competition activity, pricing, placements, promos, packaging
Relationship with Distributor
- Co-ordinate the Sales Team of the Distributor
- Train the Sales team of the Distributor according to Company's standards
Reports and presentations
- Prepares weekly field report, monthly reports (by channel, client, brand, sku)
- Prepares presentations when necessary
Requirements:
- Good command of English language is an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Microsoft Office experienced user
- Previous experience in a similar position- FMCG company for minimum 3 years
- Previous Sales Experience in Modern Trade and Traditional Trade
- Commercial, market experience in his area of responsibility
- Marketing and advertisement related know-how
- Driver's license (B category) and availability to travel
